Remade this stamp with a bit of an updated message, a new description, and open comments. I admit, at the time I first made this stamp, I was infuriated by someone belittling the death of Candice Berner in favor of wolves, and I had just typed up the first thing that came to mind. I've recently been going through my stamps and rewriting old descriptions, and this one was definitely overdue. So, here goes.

I love it when people try to argue that if hunters orphan wolf pups, it somehow leaves them hopeless, and that, as a result, their death is guaranteed. While I don't doubt that this has ever happened, I'm 99.99% sure that it's a rare occurrence.

Why don't you ever see animal rights activists care about an orphaned six year-old wolf? Is it because he no longer requires care by his parents? Hunters often orphan animals, especially deer, but what some wolfaboos don't want to acknowledge is the fact that by the time hunting season starts, wolf pups are already at the mental stage where they can take care of themselves. When asked by media representatives if a wolf hunt would complicate the social structure of wolf packs and result in low pup-survival rates or orphaned pups not learning necessary survival skills, noted wolf biologist Dr. Dave Mech replied that research doesn't support that conclusion. "Most of what wolves require behaviorally for survival is instinctual for wolves. They don't need to be taught by the parents." Research shows that young wolves can survive on their own by September, at four-to-six months of age. Should a hunter, by chance, kill the parents, that wolf pup will survive just fine - and isn't that what they care about?

I totally agree with this. I also notice that there were 3 hidden comments. What happened there? It looks like drama.

Usually, if you see hidden comments on my stuff, it's people using empty accounts to leave comments instead of using their primary accounts, that way they aren't associated with the stupid shit that comes out of their mouths. Other reasons would include someone getting off topic, people taking perfectly civil conversations and then turning rude, or the subject matter of their comment has already been addressed elsewhere.

Either that, or it's ~MugoUrth, in which case, he lost his privilege to leave comments on any of my work or to have his comments seen by the general public, due to his inability to stop making presumptuous false statements about myself and my friends, and asking the same questions over and over again. :roll:

Isn't it like so that the presumed 'orphaned' pups get motherly care from their older sisters?
I have read someting like this ages ago that the female picks another female to help her care and raise for the pups, since we all know that a female can't be like 100% of the time there for the pups.
A yay for bigger female sliblings maybe?

Sometimes another female will "adopt" 'orphaned' pups. There have been cases of females stealing pups from others as well, so it's not that far-fetched.

Oh lol, pupnapping, those jelly females.
Well whaterver happens at least the pups are safe, kinda.
There was actually a case in my country where a poacher killed a female, her pups died since, well yeah no one else to backup the pups :/ well most of our wolves aren't relly bothered to build packs .-.

But kinda the actuall sad thing is that other orphaned animal kids that really can't survive without their actual mother, like bears for example.
Is there even a stamp that says:Poachers took my mother in bear version? Way more accurate.

Hunting. = murder
Simple.
Humans need to be more considerate of animals before they all end up going extinct.

"Murder is the unlawful killing, with malice aforethought, of another human, and generally this state of mind distinguishes murder from other forms of unlawful homicide (such as manslaughter)."
